Kit has performed with Velocity's Bridge Project, Verlaine + McCann, Valtesse, and The Seattle Opera, but most often in nightlife contexts under the moniker ATM (a burlesque duo project with Hannah Simmons.) With a BFA in Dance Dramaturgy from the Ohio State University to put to use, and 20 years of ballet training to try to waste, Kit sets out to create works that seek pleasure, play, and precision. is a Native Boricua lesbian multimedia artist from Borikén (Puerto Rico) based in Seattle. Her work examines colonialism, displacement, and the construction of paradise. Born from queer rage and acts of creative resistance, she uses photography and immersive installations to expose the structures that uphold colonial power while honoring the histories of resistance and self-determination of her community in the Caribbean archipelago of Borikén, Puerto Rico.Imani Sims is an alchemist and author from Seattle, WA. Wonder is Imani’s specialty and drawing inspiration from the cosmos to integrate art, ritual, and the Black aesthetic into experiences tailored for QTBIPOC communities and allies.
