Improv training entered the mix via with Paul Sills, and the Groundlings. In Seattle, Cynthia began performing with The Edge improv in 2001, and eventually found her way to Unexpected Productions in 2015 where she is currently an ensemble member, teacher, and director. Her popular Acting for Improvisers courses at U.P. combines her training and experience.In 2025 she was invited to be a guest artist at the Paper Street Theater Improv Festival where she performed one of her favorite shows, Four Hearts, directed Bestsellers, and taught a workshop based on Second Circle work.
