Welcome to 3rd Friday Milonga at OmCulture!
In October we had the pleasure of hosting Jordana del Feld who was doing a last minute substitution. Her music was wonderful and full of sumptuous surprises. She is back this month with another set that will satisfy traditionalists and, again, includes some some wonderful surprises.
Her description: Jordana is going to play a danceable, crowd-pleasing set of standard Golden Age classics, with two or three tandas by living orchestras and one or two refreshing Golden Age hidden gems.
Our new format will be to start each dance with a fun 'cool move' Rueda style lesson with Michelle Badion. The lesson is designed as an ice-breaker in which all participants pair up and practice and intro step, a 'cool move' in the middle and an outro step at which time all follows move up or down the line, Rueda style. It's super fun, allows all leads and follow to meet and dance with each other and gives everyone the opportunity to learn one more 'cool move'! Great for those newer to tango.
