5th Annual Maine Event

The Maine Event is a fundraiser for the North Coast Land Conservancy, the Friends of Haystack Rock, and the Wildlife Center of the North Coast. All admissions collected on February 22nd will be donated to these three organizations.

It is impossible to adequately convey our thanks for the perspective Neal Maine has always brought to the board of the Seaside Aquarium. His focus and commitment to this community and its natural wonders and resources have benefited and enriched both the Aquarium’s everyday operations and its ongoing mission statement for well over two decades.

As a sincere token of our appreciation, we are setting aside the last Sunday of every future February to be ‘The Maine Event’, where 100% of all Aquarium admission revenue will be donated to local community organizations of his choosing. This will be an ongoing event intended to follow in the footsteps of the inspiring example he has always set in the pursuit of his life’s work. Thank you for everything Mr. Maine.
