Join us this half term for a family-friendly exploration of some of the many invertebrates found in Hetton Park. Our event includes a nature walk, pond dipping and ID in Hetton Burn to learn more about the creatures living beneath the surface, as well as sweep netting for those hiding in the plants nearby.
Event Information
Suitable for early years, primary school aged children and families. Children attending must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times. Booking is required to attend.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and dress accordingly to the weather forecast. Long sleeves and trousers as well as sturdy shoes and wellies are advised.
Please note, there is a short walk into the park from the Hetton Centre. Toilet Facilities are available at the start and end of the session at the Hetton Centre.
Dogs are not permitted on our events. Service and medical assistance dogs are exempt. Thank you for your understanding.
