As a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) it is a route that Trail Outlaws have worked very hard to bring to the calendar. Starting at Noses Point in Seaham, the route takes you through the Durham Wildlife Trust and National Trust managed woodland of Hawthorn Dene. Then the running of the Bays of Hawthorn Hive and The Blast Beach.

Once you venture onto this route I'm sure you will agree, that it is one of the most beautiful and a true trail run.
