Join us for an unforgettable Spring Break camp at the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center!
Four Days. Four Themes. Endless Discovery.
Our camp experience is tailored for kindergarten-6th grades and divided into two groups -- K-3rd graders and 4th-6th graders -- for age-appropriate, hands-on, outdoor-based fun and enrichment.
Each day brings a brand-new adventure designed by our educators to spark curiosity, build confidence and connect campers to the wetland.
Register your child or children for any or all of the following days:
🟦 Tuesday, March 17 — Water Works
From Flush to Flora & Fauna!
Campers explore water reuse, filtration, erosion, geology and why wetlands are essential to a healthy ecosystem. Hands-on activities include water testing, filtration experiments and a “build your own wetland” challenge.
🟩 Wednesday, March 18 — Wetland Wildlife
Tracks, Scat & Secrets of the Swamp!
Campers become wildlife detectives as they investigate animal tracks, scat replicas, wildlife skins, skulls and even dissect owl pellets. A perfect day for curious minds who love animals.
🟨 Thursday, March 19 — Birds, Behavior & Bald Eagles
Feathers, Flight & Fantastic Adaptations!
Campers learn how birds survive and thrive through a “Fill the Bill” activity, bird watching on the boardwalk, building a bird adaptation model and creating their own bird feeder to take home.
🟧 Friday, March 20 — Marsh Monsters
Bugs, Frogs & Everything Slimy (in the best way)!
Campers explore macroinvertebrates, amphibians, food webs and the tiny critters that keep wetlands alive. Includes pond dipping, up-close critter observations and a marsh food-web challenge.

Camp Schedule
-Before Care: 8-9 a.m.
-Core Program: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Please arrive at 8:45 a.m.
-After Care: 4-6 p.m.

Per Day:
-$50 per child for nonmembers
-$45 per child for members
All 4 Days:
-$180 per child for nonmembers

There is no preregistration for before or after care; you will pay day-of at the front desk after check-in or checkout. Here are the costs:
Single Day:
-Before Care Only: $5 per child
-After Care Only: $10 per child
-After & Before Care Combo: $13 per child
All 4 Days:
-Before Care Only: $15 per child
-After Care Only: $30 per child
-Before & After Care Combo: $45 per child
