Flora, Fauna, Flowing, Free: A Wetland Recital

Enjoy an enchanting evening of music at the John Bunker Sands Wetland Center with a special recital featuring Susannah Woodruff, JBS Education Coordinator and professional opera singer, accompanied by Imre Pátkai. Susannah has thoughtfully curated a program of classical art songs that celebrate the diverse wonders of the wetland — from the vibrant plants and thriving wildlife to the gentle flow of water across the landscape. A highlight of the program will be the world premiere of a new song inspired by the wetland and its resident eagles by Dallas-based composer Samuel K. Sweet, commissioned by JBS.

Join us after the recital for a special reception, where you can mingle with the artist and JBS staff members. Tickets are $100, and include admission to the recital and two tickets for a future visit to the Wetland Center.
