Try this 4.5-km out-and-back trail near Seaforth, Queensland. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 58 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.
This walk is only possible during low tide, attempting this during any other time would be a swim. At low tide, however, there is thin path of sand and shells jetting out to both Red Cliff Islands. While exploring the islands you will see many shells and coral. Be mindful of the tide and be sure to allow yourself time to return to Finlaysons Point before your stuck on the islands. Please wear suitable shoes as there is some rock hopping and sharp shells.
Please only join us if you feel up to it.
The event will be updated should the weather turn on us the morning of.
Bring a water bottle, maybe a snack, back pack, hat, good walking shoes, sun screen and maybe a long sleeve shirt as we will be in the hottest part of the day as we have to go with the tide times.
PLEASE BE ON TIME OR EARLY AS WE ARE WORKING WITH THE TIDES.
*By attending this event, you take full responsibility for your own health + safety during the hike.
