What Bees Need (Sussex Wildlife Trust)

A beginners workshop to explore the world of UK wild bees at Seven Sisters Country Park.

We’ll take a look at what makes a bee a bee, the different groups of bees we have in the UK, and how to identify some of our common species, including the Big 8 Bumblebees, Hairy Footed Flower Bees, Wool Carder Bees, Mining Bees, and more!

The workshop will start in the Pump Barn at the Seven Sisters Visitor Centre, followed by a walk in the park for some field practice, bee identification and surveying.

Bring: snacks, water, binoculars, suitable shoes and clothing for the weather.
