Location: Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club, Marine Parade, Seaford, BN25 2QR ?️ Admission: FREE entry! ⛵ WHAT’S ON THE AGENDA? ⛵ ☀️ DAYTIME ACTIVITIES (From 10:00 AM) * Taster Sessions: Ever wanted to try sailing, kayaking, or paddle-boarding? Grab a lifejacket and get out on the water with one of our catamaran sailors, or have a go at paddle boarding or kayaking with an experienced instructor. * On-the-Water Demonstrations: Watch thrilling live showcases of sailing races, Cornish gig races, and rescue drills by our own club rescue boats and the RNLI. * Festival Stalls: The promenade will be full of stalls showcasing a variety of water sports, sea based community groups and local marine businesses. Come and chat to some real sea enthusiasts! * Club Bar & Refreshments: The Galley Seaford will be open throughout the day and evening for food and refreshments. ? EVENING ENTERTAINMENT (From 4 PM- Late) * Live Bands: Transition from day to night with fantastic live musical performances on the club-house deck. Grab a drink and enjoy the sunset with a soundtrack of local talent. ? IMPORTANT INFO FOR ATTENDEES * What to bring: If you plan to take part in the on the water taster sessions, please bring swimwear or a wetsuit, a change of clothes, a towel, and closed-toe shoes you don't mind getting wet (like old trainers or wet shoes). Buoyancy aids will be provided. * Parking: Free parking along the seafront promenade and in The Buckle car park. Sorry no parking at the club. Our car park will be full with stallholders, members and other event performers. * Weather: This is an outdoor coastal event.
