- **Event Description**: Scranton's sixth annual Pride Party is a commemoration of the history of Pride. It's a celebration of how far we've come and a recognition of how far we still have to go. It centers Marsha P. Johnson's famous message: "No Pride for some of us without liberation for all of us." We'll have poetry, performances, and, of course, a whole lotta dancing. The night is MC'd by the inimitable Jinx Jamb-Famb Leonard. Mar Dabard will be presenting a special performance inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and all that led up to it. Cowgirl Pills will be bringing the best beats and keeping you dancing all night long. We have poetry from Jinx, Mar, Rose Daniels, and Becoming Steel Poetry along with a comedy set from Angelia Petrillo. Jenny Davala will be projecting her video art. Krista Healey is offering face painting.We have a bake sale to raise funds for the Scranton Solidarity Project and NEPA Stands Up tabling to talk about their latest initiatives.  And we'll have a pride-themed photo booth. 

The event is $10 at the door, or we're doing $5 pre-sale tickets through venmo to the first 50 people who grab them. Send the $5 by Friday night to @Joshua-Orloski with VoodooPride 2026 and your full name as the note. All funds will go to the performers.
