Join us for our first annual Mission Scranton Christmas Show! The Show will feature the band formed at Mission Scranton's Worship Night, Northeast Worship, Electric City Steel Drum Project, and the first ever Mission Scranton Theatre Group! This event will be also part of our End of Year Giving Campaign and you will have opportunities to learn more about our ministry and be a part of what God is doing in the city of Scranton!
About our performers:
In March, we hosted our first annual Mission Scranton Worship Night that was open to the public. Staff member, Josh Kiswani, brought a band together that consisted of members of various local churches. What we thought would be a once a year event, became an opportunity for the band to travel and lead worship at different venues. That band, eventually name Northeast Worship, will be performing for our Christmas Show!
We have partnered with EC Steel Drum Project for over a year now! They have provided a group of our students with music lessons and steel drum lessons. We are so excited to have them join us this year!
One of our volunteers, Hope Showers, will be writing and directing a play production with a cast full of our students! They will be presenting the story of the birth of Jesus!
