What is a Walk-a-thon and what do I need to do?
Students will solicit friends and family to be sponsored for the walk-a-thon. Each sponsorship is $10, and each student has a sponsorship goal of $100 (or more). It's that easy! Use the attached vouchers to hand out for donation requests. Find us on Facebook to share this event to help solicit donations and view lap leader updates. What does the Walk-a-Thon benefit?
The HGS Parent Forum is hosting this event to raise funds towards student programming and to fund Parent Forum sponsored activities into the next school year. The HGS Parent Forum will donate 25% of all funds raised back to our school for student programming, classroom resources, and extracurricular activities. Last year’s Walk-a-Thon raised $10,000 and allowed for a free Skating event and free Spring Dance this school year!
How can I help?
Join us on April 26, 2026, from 1pm to 3:30pm at St. Stanislaus Youth Center! Students will walk their laps in the presence of invited family and friends, while enjoying snacks for purchase, raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and fellowship with the school community. All members of the school community are invited to attend.

The top 3 students who raise the most donations will each receive a Target Gift Card:
1 Place $250; 2 Place: $100; 3 Place: $50 (To be given at the Walk-a-Thon on April 26)
The grade level that raises the most donations will win an ice cream party for their class.
Donations will be received for individual student laps until Thursday, April 23 at 8pm. Donations for The Whole Squad will be accepted until Sunday, April 26. 
Student winners will be announced on Friday, April 24 via Facebook and Email.
Virtual Basket Raffle
Visit our virtual basket raffle site and win some great prizes (beginning April 1 thru April 26)! Tickets will be available for purchase online at the event on April 26. A Facebook Live will take place on Monday, May 4, with all winners notified by May 8.
