Our annual Gingerbread House Contest is BACK for its FIFTH YEAR! I can't believe it! This holiday tradition in the Heart of Scottsville is one of my favorites!
This year's theme is the parade theme of "An American Christmas"
Entries will be on display at Oliver Creative during the First Friday event with a “People’s Choice Award” given to the entry that receives the most votes.
✨✨✨✨✨People's Choice winner will be awarded $150 donation to their choice of nonprofit or club organization! ✨✨✨✨✨✨

Who can enter?!?!
🎄Individual Adult (Kids at heart!)
🎄Groups
Open to school groups, churches, organizations, businesses, families, or groups of friends.
🎄Kids and Teens
RULES
🎄Entries must be on a covered, sturdy square, or rectangle base.
🎄Maximum size of base cannot exceed 24” x 24” total. There are no height restrictions.
🎄Structure must primarily be made out of Gingerbread.
🎄Premade gingerbread kits are acceptable, but use your creativity to make it yours! West & Taylor is doing some amazing gingerbread house kits!
🎄All visible parts must be edible, with the exception of the base and battery-operated lighting.
🎄Candies must be unwrapped.
🎄The theme is “Winter Wonderland Adventure” – Use your creativity!
🎄Your entry MUST be at Oliver Creative by 4:00 on Friday afternoon before the event.Bring anytime before then!
🎄Entries will be viewed at December First Friday event on December 6th and will be voted on by the people. The winner will be determined by votes and announced at the end of the night.
🎄You MUST be able to take home immediately following the event.
