Canning 102

We want to help you take on canning this year! This informational class will teach you all about essential, safe, and scientifically tested methods for preserving food at home focusing on pressure canning. We'll cover equipment, sterilization, recipe testing, altitude adjustments, safety, and basic troubleshooting.

We've met lots of people who are nervous about pressure canning. Let us demystify pressure canning and give you the confidence to do it yourself. You'll have lots of opportunities to ask questions from experienced canner Caitlin Walls.

Get ready for canning season whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up your canning skills.
