ARTISTS: Created by Rebecca and Josh Weinstein
Co-presented by The Bridge Initiative and ASU Kerr
Run time: 90 mins
A joyful Hanukkah musical revue celebrating Jewish culture through song, stories, and humor! A festive, cabaret-style concert packed with powerhouse vocals, singalongs, and winter favorites by Jewish composers. Created by local talents Rebecca and Josh Weinstein, this spirited show offers a vibrant alternative to the season’s usual holiday fare.
Oy to the World blends heartfelt Hanukkah songs (like Barenaked Ladies’ Hanukkah Blessings and Daveed Diggs’ Puppy for Hanukkah) with Broadway hits (“You Won’t Succeed on Broadway…” from Spamalot), joyful winter tunes by Jewish composers (“Let It Snow,” “My Favorite Things”), and community engagement moments like audience trivia.
And… you have a chance to perform! Before each musical cabaret, bring your sheet music to sing during the 7 p.m. preshow. Please come early and sign up – first come, first served! Doors open at 6:45pm.
