Celebrate the unveiling of Quilt Architecture, a stunning new ¡Sombra! installation by artist Luke Haynes. Featuring an 80-foot-long fabric sculpture crafted from more than 200 quilts made from recycled thrift store clothing and bedding, this eye-catching artwork transforms the park into a vibrant space where art, sustainability, and community converge.
Installed near the park’s main amenities, Quilt Architecture invites visitors to cool off, reflect, and interact with a piece that honors both the need for shade in our desert climate and the beauty of reimagined materials.
