The Arts at Ascension presents the fourth annual Sing-Along of George Frederick Handel’s classic holiday oratorio “Messiah.” It’s a free, family holiday fun afternoon, featuring soloists and choristers from The Arizona Masterworks Chorale and Women’s Orchestra of Arizona — and the voices of everyone who loves singing choruses from Handel’s magnificent creation.

Come and sing along, or just sit back and enjoy the greatest Christmas oratorio ever. No rehearsal necessary for singers.

Women's Orchestra of Arizona

WOA, the Women's Orchestra of Arizona, was founded in 2016 to provided musical opportunities to empower women musicians and to benefit the greater community. As the second all-women's orchestra in the US (after Cleveland's Women's Orchestra), we look to bring hope and opportunity to all aspiring female musicians in the community.

The orchestra welcomes members from all walks of life who are looking to play in a musically stimulating yet supportive environment. The orchestra is made up of high school students, retired musicians, teachers, healthcare practitioners and players of a wide range of ages.
