Bucket Drumming with MASARY 11/9

Grab a bucket and some sticks for a percussion workshop with MASARY!

Sunday, Nov. 9, 6:45–7:15 p.m.

Ryan Edwards of Boston’s MASARY Studios will lead a fun bucket-drumming workshop, inspired by his years studying West African percussion. Buckets and sticks will be provided, or bring a drum of your own if you have one! Participants will learn basic rhythms and call-and-response patterns while exploring the joys of synchronization and syncopation. No experience necessary. An open mind and good vibes are absolutely necessary.
