Yoga Give Back is a free community wellness program hosted at the Scott County Heritage Center & Museum every Saturday from 9:00–10:00 a.m., beginning on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

This unique series is led by eight locally trained yoga instructors representing schools, healthcare organizations, substance use recovery services, first responders, and other community-focused nonprofits throughout Scott County. Through a community health initiative, these instructors completed professional yoga teacher training and are now giving back by offering free classes to local residents.

Because each instructor brings their own preferred style and approach to yoga, participants will experience a variety of practices throughout the series—from gentle stretching and mindfulness to more active movement-based sessions. Whether you are new to yoga or have practiced before, these classes provide a welcoming environment to improve flexibility, reduce stress, support overall wellness, and connect with others in the community.

Space is limited to approximately 10 participants per class. Advance registration and a signed waiver are required. Participants should be able to safely engage in light physical activity and get up and down from the floor without assistance.
