She taught Investigations and Crime Scene at the Brevard Community College Police Academy for ten years and holds a B.S. in Organizational Management with a minor in Emergency Management. Sergeant Hearon is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI), and is an active member of IAFCI, ACFE, and ACAMS.
