What should volunteers bring?
Please wear sunscreen, bug repellent, suitable footwear and clothing. Bring your phone to upload the iMap Invasives app and help identity unwanted plants in the park. Bring binoculars and a curious mind to spot and learn more about New York's birds and other pollinators.

Family Friendly Projects
Did you know there are more than 450 different species of birds in New York? Use your observation skills to identify 10 bird species and join the I BIRD NY Challenge. Submit it to the NYDEC, and you will be awarded a commemorative patch, a completion certificate, and entered into a drawing for great birding prizes! Both youth and adult winners will be selected.
