Non-Profit: Adirondack Community Action Programs, Inc. (ACAP), founded in 1965, serves Essex County by helping families overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency. As part of a nationwide network of Community Action Agencies, ACAP provides comprehensive support for children, adults, seniors, and families, coordinating programs and resources to meet community needs and create lasting impact.
