DATE: Sunday, March 15th
TIME: 6-8pm
LOCATION: Greenheck Turner Community Center, 6400 Alderson St, Weston, WI 54476
WHO: Any skater in Learn to Skate Basic 3 or higher interested in trying Synchronized Skating in 2026-2027 are welcome to attend!
Synchronized skating is a fast-growing, dynamic discipline where 5–20 skaters perform in unison to music, emphasizing speed, formations, and teamwork. Events feature teams executing choreographed blocks, circles, wheels, lines, and intersection elements, judged on technical proficiency and artistic composition similar to other figure skating disciplines.
**This year, Timberline FSC's Aspire 1 team, consisting of 9 skaters, competed at the Point Area Winter Synchro (PAWS) Invitational competition in Stevens Point and also earned the bronze medal at the Badger State Games, qualifying them for the State Games of America! Our Aspire 3 level team competed three times, earning the silver medal at the PAWS competition and the fourth place pewter medal last weekend in Eau Claire!**
Aspire Synchro: A team of 5-20 skaters. Skaters must be 13 years and younger (Aspire 1), 16 years or younger (Aspire 2), or 17 years and younger (Aspire 3 and Aspire 4). No skaters may have passed higher than a pre-bronze test level. Each Aspire Synchro level has specific rules.
