We’re so excited to get everyone back out on the water after such a successful first run!

Join us for a river run on Tuesday, July 14th along the Eau Claire River!

? We’ll meet at 5:45 PM at Yellowbanks Park in Weston
We will leave promptly at 6:00 PM - PLEASE BE ON TIME, as we’ll be getting everyone launched quickly and will be leaving no later than 6:05 PM to make sure we’re back before dark.

This is a downriver paddle (not just a casual leisure float) as we travel the Eau Claire River and finish at the same spot as our last run - the Schofield Dam area. The route should take about 2.5 hours, but plan for a full 3 hours on the water. We should be returning just as the sun begins to set.

This run is for moderate experience paddlers, as there will be some rougher patches along the river.

Please bring:
• A kayak, canoe, or paddle board
• A lifejacket (required)
• Plenty of water

⚠️ We will need a couple of volunteers who can leave their vehicles at the Schofield Dam to help shuttle drivers back to the drop-in spot. If you’re able to arrive a bit early and help coordinate that, please send us a DM!

If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll still get together and hang out nearby! The Yak Pack is about good company as much as it is about paddling! ?
