The combination can be a fantastic playground for discovery... to encounter, connect, and
experience. To let go, to be present, to be open... to find authenticity and courage, to trust, accept...
and to love.... Wow!! Who knew that clowning and yoga had so much in common? What a
wonderful foundation to search for your inner self... and clown. And maybe we can stop being so
serious about our yoga praxis for just a little bit... and allow these two very personal experiences to
flow into each other. And let's admit it, very often yoga IS actually funny! Let's create a space to
laugh at ourselves and our expectations, to relax the mind and surrender to the heart. Let's have a
toast to who we really are... „I am that which I am“.... Soham!*

 

In this workshop you are invited to learn the basics of Hatha Yoga. Breathing and relaxation exercises complement the classic body positions.


Breathing exercises (Pranayama)
Basic poses (Asanas)
Sun salutation (Surya Namaskar)
Mantras and some theory

 

Theater techniques and exercises as well as improvisations focus on body language and emotional expression and invite you to experience encounters in play in a more humorous, human and joyful way. Reduced to the essentials, it is possible to discover and show yourself in a warm, appreciative atmosphere.

 

We will do both clowning and yoga inside the dojo and in the beautiful gardens in the sunshine.
