Life is like a journey through storms, through deep and shallow water. It is a constant balancing act and a search for a fragile equilibrium. This exhibition offers an insight into our mental well-being and the experiences and perceptions it shapes. The participating artists translate their own journey into the language of art. Sometimes through an extensive analysis of the world around them, sometimes as an intuitive impression, and other times through immersion in the creative process.Their personal inland navigation awakens our awareness regarding mental health. Step aboard, let yourself be taken into their world of experience, and discover the path to yourself along the way. Opening Sunday, June 21 at 3:30 PM by Marie Claire Gellings, artist and lecturer at the Willem de Kooning Academy. Music performances by Vincent Vonk. Musical performance by singer-songwriter Elly Kellner on Sunday, June 28 as part of 'Gluren bij de Buren'. Start times 14:30, 16:00, and 17:30. Also check glurenbijdeburen.nl. Linocut workshop ‘Binnenreis’ on Saturday, July 4 from 14:30 to 16:30 by Michalina Małolepsza. Register in advance via our website.
