At the end of the workshop we will gather to enjoy looking at the paintings and talk about them. By the end of the course you will be able toUnderstand the fundamentals of how to apply landscape divisions and spatial perspectives on canvas.Be familiar with the standard concepts in choosing a landscape frame.Have a clear understanding of and shape perspective in oil painting.How to begin and to end a nature landscape painting.Be familiar with the building blocks of the landscape painting process. Become aware of some of the challenges and advantages of landscape/spatial perspective.Workshop formatThe workshops will take place in the open air. Each day participants will meet at an agreed location and will spend the day on that location. The workshops are designed for a maximum of 10 participants. Abeer the tutor will paint alongside the participants and go through the main building steps of the painting and other important considerations throughout the painting process. Participants will be free to choose their subject and perspective and style.Please note that if weather forecast is rain for the day we will be working at the Atelier in Lange Achterweg 44 from a photo. We will notify you the evening before. Painting MaterialsPlease note that you have a choice to bring your materials (brushes oil paints pallete canvas) or we will order for you materials (pls see below). They will be yours to take home at the end of each day. It is important to let us know if you want to bring your materials or let us know 3 days before if you would like us to make an order.
