The goal was to raise enough money to purchase essential fire equipment, including a new fire truck.Those in charge of the carnival note that the event raises significant funds, helping the department save the public a considerable amount in tax dollars. The carnival is held at Borst Field, Schenevus.Overall, the Schenevus Fireman's Carnival is more than just an event; it is a celebration of community, tradition, and the invaluable service of local firefighters.
