Through archival footage and firsthand accounts, the film examines NORAID’s grassroots organizing, fundraising, political advocacy and publicity efforts, as well as the scrutiny the organization faced from American, British and Irish authorities. It also traces the growing political influence of Irish-American activists and their place in the story that ultimately led toward the Irish peace process.Special Guest: Martin GalvinWe are honored to welcome Martin Galvin, former National Publicity Director for NORAID and current National Freedom for All Ireland Chairman of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, as our special guest speaker.Galvin, who is prominently featured in the documentary, was one of the best-known Irish-American republican activists during the Troubles.
