We'll be joined by author and Executive Director of the Kairos Center for Religions, Rights, and Social Justice, and Co-chair of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call For Moral Revival: Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis! Join us for an evening of building power with our neighbors to FIGHT POVERTY, NOT THE POOR! Please register at https://bit.ly/PovertySpeakout2026. This event is sponsored by the Rotterdam Community Center, Schenectady County Food Council, NYS Poor People's Campaign, Nonviolent Medicaid Army, National Union of the Homeless, and Messiah Lutheran Church. Accessibility information: Messiah Lutheran Church is an accessible building, with gender neutral restrooms. The meal will be served on the second floor at 6:00pm with lift access. The main program will be held in the church sanctuary at 7:00pm with audio amplification. Please inform us of any additional accessibility needs in the registration form.
