Everyone is welcome.About this EventThe Schenectady Jewish Community Center (SJCC) is excited to announce Eco-Art Event, a family-oriented community program that teaches children and their families about nature and sustainability through art projects, to be held on July 26, 2026, from 10:00am – 12:00pm.SJCC will offer a variety of activities at the Eco-Art Event. This includes Creative Seed Explorers and Little Seed Detectives, presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension, where kids can explore different seeds and make an art project with them. Following the seed activities, CREATE Community Studios will host a Recycled Creations Lab, where kids can create fun projects using recycled materials. There will also be a nature scavenger hunt led by The Environmental Clearinghouse (ECOS) and additional ecological crafts throughout the event. Refreshments will be available for purchase, and a used book sale will be taking place.Eco-Art Day is made possible through the generous support of JCC’s Friends of the Arts and Schenectady County Legislature Arts & Culture Grant.
