Cyanotype was invented in 1841 by Sir John Herschel and popularized by Anna Atkinson botanical prints. The paper is coated with light sensitive emulsion and dried flowers & plants are placed on top.  Exposed  to the sun and developed in water creating stunning Prussian blue botanical prints.

Amanda Lane is a photographer of over 40 years. Receiving a MA from the Royal College of Art and specializing in 19th century techniques, Amanda has extensive experience as a Photographer and Printer.
