INHALE DELIRIUM EXHALE | Miet Warlop

NL: Sinds haar eerste creatie werkt Miet Warlop in het geheim aan wat zij ‘de schedel van het onderbewustzijn’ noemt, een plek waar je grootste angsten en verlangens samenkomen tot een hoogtepunt. Dit hoogtepunt krijgt de naam ‘Delirium’, een woord dat bewust werd gekozen voor wat per definitie ontsnapt aan het tastbare. Een staat van verwarring, een droom, een reis.

FR: Depuis sa première création, Miet Warlop travaille en secret sur ce qu'elle appelle "le crâne du subconscient", un lieu où convergent vos plus grandes peurs et vos plus grands désirs. Elle appelle ce point central "Delirium", un mot délibérément choisi pour désigner ce qui, par définition, échappe au réel. Un état de confusion, un rêve, un voyage.

EN: Ever since her first creation, Miet Warlop has secretly been working on what she calls 'the skull of the subconscious', a place where your greatest fears and desires converge. This culmination is named 'Delirium', a word deliberately chosen for what by definition escapes the tangible. A state of confusion, a dream, a journey. can a state of de-control and excess drive the crowd to act?
