FREE Youth Dance Workshop: Behind the Curtain, The Nutcracker by HBT

Hudson Ballet Theatre is thrilled to launch Behind the Curtain, The Nutcracker, the first workshop in our new series! Students ages 5–18 are invited to enjoy this FREE opportunity to collaborate, create, and dance with HBT’s professional artists. No prior dance experience is required!

This inaugural workshop will guide students in crafting original movement inspired by music from the classic ballet The Nutcracker. Participants will explore narrative, musicality, and personal expression as they develop their own choreography.

The workshop concludes with an in-studio showing of student creations, along with special performances of Nutcracker excerpts by some of HBT’s professional dancers.

Info: Students will work with members of Hudson Ballet Theatre to explore the story, music, and create their own movement to sections of The Nutcracker.
