Come out and help us kick off the rebuild of Swtichblade by clearing debris from the flag line. We need a big group to make this happen! No trail building skills needed, just the desire to be part of reviving this legendary trail post-harvesting!Safety meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the gazebo in the main parking lot.Note: Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure that you are ready to roll. We work in most weather, so come prepared for the elements.What to bring:Work clothes: Long sleeve shirt, pants, boots, eye protection, jacket, and (very important for this particular dig) glovesHard hat or bike helmet (mandatory)WaterSnacksOptional: Your bike, favorite trail tool; McLeods, pitchforks, hard rakes .We have tools, but please feel free to bring your own. Note we will not be doing any dirt work.Other important things:We will be doing a combo of carpooling and riding to to the top of the trail. Bring your bike if you're willing to do a little climb.Metropolis will be feeding everyone after the dig. Plan to hang out, eat, and socialize until 1:30 or 2.
