Come out on Halloween Eve (Devil's Night) and join local horror author and Bram Stoker Award recipient, James Chambers, and local horror author Trevor Firetog, for an eerie exploration of Long Island demons, ghosts, and mysterious occurrences. This special presentation and reading will delve into the Amityville Horror, the Lady of Lake Ronkonkoma, Mount Misery, the many ghosts of Sweet Hollow Road, and more. Peek into some of Long Island’s darkest shadows and learn the truth behind the legends—if you dare!

About the authors:

James Chambers is a Bram Stoker Award and Scribe Award-winning author of the collections, A Bright and Beautiful Eternal World, On the Hierophant Road, and On the Night Border, as well as the Cryptids on Long Island novella series, which includes The Devil in the Green, The Billabong Trail, and Mount Misery. He also wrote the original graphic novel, Kolchak the Night Stalker: The Forgotten Lore of Edgar Allan Poe.

Trevor Firetog is an author and filmmaker from Long Island. He is the author of the horror novella Usual Monsters and co-wrote the fantasy comic book series Ogyri. His short stories have appeared in the anthologies Even in the Grave, A New York State of Fright, and Under Twin Suns: Alternate Histories of the Yellow Sign.
