The one-hour documentary, based on the book by John Schneider, tells the powerful story of Sayreville's history. Sponsored by the Sayreville Historical Society, the film tells the often overlooked story of Sayreville, a community shaped by clay, bricks, waterways, industry, immigration, war, and generations of residents. It's local history with national consequences brought to life.

In addition, before and after the screening, attendees are invited to pose for selfies with Revolutionary War-era costumes, with period props and relics in front of an historically inspired backdrop. 

Author and filmmaker John Schneider will be on hand to autograph several of his books, including "The Story of Sayreville: The Town Built With Bricks".
