Jenkins Athletic Club: Building Champions Since 1933
OUR MISSION: At Jenkins Athletic Club, we empower Savannah’s youth through sports and
recreational programs that foster teamwork, resilience, leadership, and community involvement.
From after-school care to summer camps and competitive leagues, we provide a nurturing
environment to bridge gaps in local school athletic facilities, helping kids grow with confidence and
purpose.
OUR HISTORY: Founded in 1933 by Judge Victor B. Jenkins, Jr. as the Jefferson Athletic Club,
we’ve been a cornerstone of youth athletics for 92 years. Renamed after Judge Jenkins and
relocated to 6408 Waters Ave in 1985, we expanded in 2015 to serve both boys and girls,
promoting personal growth and athletic excellence.
OUR FUTURE: Our Inaugural Annual Fundraiser Gala aims to raise $150,000 to sustain our
programs, maintain facilities, and expand opportunities for kids. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your tax-
deductible donations will shape the future of Savannah’s youth, forging a legacy of community and
purpose.
