Hope Haven is a day respite ministry at St. John’s Church in downtown Savannah. We offer a welcoming, social club-like program for four hours, twice a week to serve adults living with early to mid-stage dementia.  We also provide caregivers with support and time to tend to their needs.

Volunteering with Hope Haven is a joyful and meaningful way to build relationships, share kindness, and make a real difference in the lives of families in our community.

We offer flexible volunteer opportunities on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM, with roles that can fit a variety of interests and schedules.

Attending training does not commit you to volunteering — it’s simply a chance to learn more about Hope Haven and see if it’s a good fit for you. If you do choose to volunteer, a background check is required and provided at no cost.
