A photograph, article of clothing, letter, family heirloom, souvenir, key, or everyday belonging can contain traces of a person, relationship, identity, place, or moment in time. Photography has long served as a means of documentation and preservation, but it can also be a way of honoring, interpreting, questioning, and reimagining what remains after loss.Developed by SCAD Photography in partnership with The Grief Gallery® and Curating Grief®, this exhibition invites photographers to consider the role images can play in making visible experiences that are often difficult to describe.Selected student works will be exhibited alongside a curated installation of meaningful objects and stories from The Grief Gallery®, creating a dialogue between photographs and objects, memory and materiality, absence and presence. As part of the participatory exhibition, you’re invited to bring a meaningful object to our Pop-Up Photo Studio to be photographed and added to an evolving digital display.Sat. 10/24/2026, 3:30-5:30pmGraham Scott building641 Indian Street, Savannah*Follows a Featured Speaker Presentation by Charlene Lam for SCAD students and faculty at 2pm at River event space, by invitation of SCAD Photography. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/savannah/dear-objects-photographs-objects-and-the-stories-we-carry/100002002978868715 - **Event Categories**: exhibitions, photography, storytelling, pop-ups - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 2 hours - Location: The Graham Scott - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Savannah - **state**: GA - **country**: United States - **location**: The Graham Scott - **lat**: 32.0847733 - **long**: -81.1001544 - **full address**: The Graham Scott, 641 Indian Street, Savannah, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Dear Objects: Photographs, Objects, and the Stories We Carry - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/b4d0d29e25ac922032bea938b80403291aed2a2ac2c7fac124fe574e44d8f66f-rimg-w1200-h675-dcd8a8a8-gmir.jpg?v=1791400565 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Dear Objects: Photographs, Objects, and the Stories We Carry being held? - **A:** Dear Objects: Photographs, Objects, and the Stories We Carry takes place on Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 03:30 pm to Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 05:30 pm at The Graham Scott, 641 Indian Street, Savannah, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Dear Objects: Photographs, Objects, and the Stories We Carry? - **A:** Dear Objects: Photographs, Objects, and the Stories We Carry is organized by PAUSE. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
