✨About the Savannah Black Art Expo: Launched in 2023, this free annual event celebrates the creativity and talent of Savannah’s Black arts community. It provides a vibrant space where visual and performing artists can showcase their work, sell their goods and services, and engage directly with attendees. Hosted by the City of Savannah’s Cultural Resources department, the Expo takes place at the Otis S. Johnson Cultural Arts Center, the department’s cultural hub, located at 201 Montgomery Street. Visitors can explore local history, connect with community organizations, shop from a variety of vendors, watch local performers, and much more. The Center is also committed to accessibility, offering resources such as Braille and large-print materials, tactile maps, accessible signage, and other accommodations to ensure the event is welcoming to all. ? Parking: Limited (paid) street parking is available near the CAC. The closest parking garages are Liberty Parking Garage on Liberty and Montgomery and Robinson Parking Garage on Montgomery St. across from Chatham County Courthouse. There is an accessible drop-off area on Montgomery St, and one accessible parking space next to the building on Turner Blvd. Additional accessible parking spaces are in City parking lots and garages.
