2-Day Watercolor in Drybrush Workshop with Alan R. Young

This workshop will focus on wildlife and natural elements. Explore the technique of painting by subtraction, the lifting of watercolor paint to create highlights. Dry brush watercolor, unlike traditional watercolor, is designed for better control. Alan is a renowned award-winning wildlife artist and instructor. Each students will choose and paint their own subject matter (multiple)...anything from your family pet to a conch shell. Hard copy photos are recommended for students who have difficulty with outline sketching. A strongly recommended materials list is available. Please bring lunch.
Class time: Saturday, November 22nd, 9:30-5:00 and Sunday, November 23rd, 10:00-4:00.
