We will be preparing food for our marine mammal patients and upkeeping kitchen sanitization tasks, allowing you a glimpse into what it is like to be one of our committed animal care volunteers. Our hope is that you leave this event with an increased understanding of patient needs, and some goals for what you can do to support our ocean.Stewardship Saturday events vary in levels of physical and mental exertion. Please review the entire event description, including accessibility notes, to ensure this event meets your expectations.We can sign for Community Service hours if you need us to!Accessibility notes:The Marine Mammal Center is a hospital. There will be no petting, feeding, or hands on interaction with the patients. We do ask that youth attend the events without adults to allow for opportunities to meet others interested in conservation.
