Help shape the Drainage Management Plan (DMP).About this EventThe City of Sausalito invites you to help shape the Drainage Management Plan (DMP) for the Gate 5 and Marinship area at a community workshop on April 29.At this open‑house–style workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences with flooding in the Gate 5 and Marinship area, learn about potential drainage and flood‑protection solutions, and review and provide feedback on preliminary design alternatives.The Gate 5 and Marinship area are iconic parts of Sausalito’s maritime history and economy. However, sea level rise, king tides, and heavy rainfall increasingly leave properties in this area vulnerable to flooding. In response, the City is developing a comprehensive Drainage Management Plan to help protect both natural and built shoreline resources while preserving the area’s unique character.Community input is a critical part of this process. Feedback gathered during this workshop will help inform the Drainage Management Plan and guide future improvements. City staff and engineers will be available to answer questions, discuss proposed concepts, and hear what matters most to you as priorities move forward.Your voice is essential as the City explores solutions for the Gate 5 and Marinship area.If you can't attend the community meeting, make your voice heard by providing your feedback through our survey.Want more information about the project?
