This free, one-day course earns you a GPA certificate. GPA Basics is a 7.5 hour evidence-informed education session designed for team members who care for older adults who display responsive behaviours associated with dementia. Using a person-centred, compassionate and gentle persuasive approach, learn to respond respectfully and with confidence and skill to behaviours associated with dementia. Space is limited. Students must be working in the health care sector or studying health care, 18 and over and complete a registration form requiring your social insurance number.
