- **Event Description**: Tri-County Humane Society has been in our new shelter for just a little more than five years. Plans for an open house celebration never came together due to Covid, so we've decided to finally host one with an event we're calling Paws & Pumpkins!

This free event will feature vendors, a pet photo booth by About a Dog Photography, sweet autumn treats and cider, and lots of information on how you can get involved to support your local animal shelter. Most of the event will be outdoors, where alumni or other non-shelter pets are welcome! We'll be giving shelter tours, too.

Paws & Pumpkins attendees will also get a look at one of our newest shelter features!  We've added a TCHS Tribute Wall to the area right outside our dog meet-and-greet room. For $250, you may purchase a metal tag that is engraved with the name of a special pet or person as a permanent tribute. We'll affix the tags to the umbrella portion of our super-sized logo. This a great way to honor a beloved pet or person while helping animals in need at the same time! We want to thank Midway Iron and All Pro Powder Coating for their contributions to our Tribute Wall logo!
