Learn the slow and meditative art of stitching called English Paper Piecing (EPP). 

We will start with this small little project called a Valentine Heart Mat. We have two color ways available. One with Valentine fabrics and the other with teal, green, and orange fabrics for all occasions. Indicate which kit you want at sign up.

Everything you need is included in the ($32 value) kit that comes with the class:

    The Pattern

    The paper templates

    The fabric pieces

    The correct needle

    A bobbin of the perfect thread for EPP. 

The Art Lab already has the right glue pens for you to use.  We will start from the beginning of how to Paper Piece and then go through the pattern construction.

    Dates: Tues,  Jan 6th and Tues, Jan 20th  (January 27th is a rain/snow date if needed)

    Time: 1pm - 3pm

    Sessions: 2 

    Materials: Provided, but if you have a sewing scissors and a sewing machine, please bring them.

    Class Level: Beginner or experienced

January 6: hand sewing only - you will need a fabric scissors. (we do have a few extra at the Art Lab)

January 20: Bring your sewing machine to put it together  (The Art Lab has a few if you need to use one)
