Wilderness First Aid

Being out in the woods, wilderness, dessert, any remote places and out of cell service comes with risks. Wilderness First Aid teaches us how to manage thosse risks. It teaches you how to recognize and treat injuries until further help can arrive. It teaches you to recognize illnesses so you can reduce potential further injury.

The WFA is 16 hours long over 2 days. The date displayed is the starting day. The second day occurs the day following the first.

The WFA is the perfect course for any kind of outdoor enthusiasts and leaders. It is the industry standard for first aid training for trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups.

• There are ongoing evaluations and written assessments throughout the course.
• You will receive a WFA certification, which is good for two years.
• Age: 16+
• CPR Training will be offered SEPERATELY at checkout and is taught during your time with us. Signup can happen on the day off.

Nathan grew up hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. His love of the outdoors has taken him around the world. He loves being outside and helping others have great wilderness adventures.

He has climbed, guided and taught remote medicine across the globe. This includes Alaska, Argentina, Mongolia, Iceland, Tanzania, the Rockies and many more.

He co-founded a clinic in the mountains of Belle Fontaine, Haiti. There he provided medical services to victims of the 2010 earthquakes.

He worked with Floating Doctors to provide healthcare in rural island clinics. He worked in Tanzania and Mongolia providing medical care to indigenous populations.
